In 2012, the Trakehner Champion Mare is by Le Rouge out of a Hohenstein mare.
In 2010, Hohenstein as dam sire of champion stallion Imhotep (sold for 300,000 Euros) impressively confirmed his dominance in breeding.
In 2009, Hohenstein's son Insterburg TSF won with his rider Carola Koppelmann the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the indoor tournament in Hanover.
In 2008, he was dam sire of winning Trakehner stallion Iskander. Thea-Felicitas Müller won with Hohenstein’s son Highway the Team Gold Medal at the European Championships of Young Riders in Portugal.
In 2007, Hohenstein provided two premium stallions at the licensing in Neumünster. His son Hohenstaufen became European and German Champion of the Young Riders with Kristin Schütte.
