Approved in 2013 by the German Trakehner Verband and was given the award of Best Anglo-Trakehner at his inspection in Neumunster, Germany. A well conformed stallion that is 5/8th Thoroughbred through 4 generations. His sire Favoritas xx was an internationally successful Thoroughbred jumping star. Athletic and very light on his feet. As a result he was acquired and imported and then competed in eventing under the well know event riders J. Michael Pollard and William Coleman through 2016.
Breeders wishing to use a Trakehner stallion high in TB genetics in their breeding program should consider Rusticus. While he has bred a limited number of mares because of his competition career, he has tested genetically clear for CA, SCID and LFS.
