Lord Cosmo is the one of few approved Pinto Trakehner stallions in North America and the first approved by the ATA and the Trakehner Association of North America. He is by the imported stallion Cosmopolit by Peron Jr (Sixtus/Habicht) out of Carisma by Anduc. Sadly, his sire Cosmopolit approved in Neumunster in 2004 and imported to the US by Tylord Farm, perished prematurely in a barn fire shortly after his importation. He left behind only 2 offspring. Lord Cosmo and Isamu owned by Northwest Trakehners.  Lord Cosmo is bred for dressage with fluid, uphill movement and he is a very talented jumper as well. He has a sensible temperament, correct conformation, exceptional movement, athleticism, all wrapped up in a beautiful, colorful package. He passes these attributes on to his offspring and will pass on his pinto coloring at least 50% of the time. In 2019, 100% of his offspring were pintos.
