Pure Gold Stables is located in Salem, Ohio, Columbiana County on the eastern edge of the state. Access to major highways is just minutes from the barn.


Waivers and Releases must be signed by all riders on the Pure Gold property.  Current Coggins test required for all horses staying on the property, in addition to access to recent health papers for out-of-state guests. Proof of vaccinations required for all horses who plan to stay in the main barn.

The Event facility amenities include:

Event Barn

  • Thermostat-controlled fan system increases barn ventilation for warm summer months

  • 28 permanent 10′ x 12′ stalls with limestone base

  • Two wash rack/grooming areas

  • Stalls are constructed of wood with steel grating and solid sliding stall fronts

  • Six water hydrants and eight electrical outlets are conveniently placed around the event barn for easy access

  • Sixteen RV & trailer electrical hookups

  • Horse van loading/unloading dock

Riding Accommodations

  • 180′ x 90′ heated indoor arena with elite racetrack blend sand footing (Fan System for hot summer months)

  • 175′ x 300′ fenced all weather outdoor arena with elite racetrack blend sand footing

  • 5/8 mile all weather conditioning track

  • Covered 60′ all weather sand round pen

  • Property trails, wide enough to accommodate a driving carriage

  • Two USEF Premiere Equine regulation sized dressage arenas

  • Full stadium and hunter style jump courses which feature keyhole track standards, various fillers, gates, planks, and European pine round rails
